Although the cold winter weather has lingered this year, spring is on its way and will officially arrive on March 20, otherwise known as the Vernal Equinox. As the weather gets warmer and the days get longer, it’s nice to be able to spend time outdoors enjoy the balmy spring weather.

The Crowne Plaza provides a wonderful place in downtown Tulsa to relax, enjoy the springtime, and utilize the amenities offered by Tulsa’s destination luxury hotel. Crowne Plaza Revenue Manager Sarah Staudt says, “Our Starbuck’s Café and Daily Grill restaurant both have wonderful patios, and the “Green” is like a park in the middle of downtown. It’s a great place to relax with a book, or have a picnic amid the hustle and bustle of downtown.” Staudt adds, “We do have an indoor/outdoor pool with large deck which can be enjoyed year round, and is particularly enjoyable in the spring and summer.”

However, there is more to enjoy than afternoon picnics, cappuccinos and frappucinos, and lounging poolside. The Crowne Plaza offers the award-winning Daily Grill restaurant as the ideal place to have a cocktail and dine prior to an evening of the ballet, theater, opera or a concert or post-performance nightcap. The Daily Grill certainly provides outstanding food across the culinary spectrum.
Abundant opportunities are available in March for an evening of cocktails and fine dining at the Crowne Plaza followed by superb entertainment. A look at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center Web site reveals interesting venues.

Later in March, the 19 and 20, the Tulsa Ballet will present three works by three intriguing choreographers Stanton Welch, Nacho Duato, and Young Soon Hue. These are just some of the many offerings in March at the .

The Black Eyed Peas will appear at the Center on March 20. Kids will enjoy 1-2-3 Imagine with Elmo & Friends from March 25-28.

For those who appreciate ease and convenience when they attend downtown events, the Crowne Plaza offers the perfect solution. Rather than travel downtown for just the evening, choose the Crowne Plaza’s Stay Inclusive Package that features luxury accommodations for two, breakfast for two in the Daily Grill and complimentary self-parking. For romantics, try the Romantic Escape package, which comes with deluxe room accommodations, a bottle of fine wine, bouquet of fresh flowers and a box of delectable chocolates. Guests can join the Priority Club at no cost and receive 5,000 bonus points for every stay at a special rate. It’s a worthwhile club to join, as the luxurious Crowne Plaza and downtown Tulsa offer a winning combination of enjoyment and entertainment opportunities.
