Daily Police Report: Car Thieves Arrested
(TULSA, Okla.) Officer J. Comstock was on routine patrol Jan. 27th when he attempted to conduct a traffic stop in reference to a vehicle driving without operational headlights. As Comstock activated his emergency lights to pull the car over, the vehicle accelerated and quickly ducked into the “Tamarak Apartments” located near 61st and Peoria.
Officer Comstock observed three Hispanic males run from vehicle. Officers were quick in the establishment of a perimeter and with the assistance of K-9 units all three of the suspects were apprehended. The vehicle’s steering column was popped and further investigation determined that the owner was unaware that the vehicle had been stolen.
Three juvenile suspects arrested.
