Tulsa City Council Chairman G.T. Bynum, left, was the featured speaker at the July 27 luncheon meeting of the Center for Studies in Democracy and Culture, hosted by Rodger Randle, the director of the center.
The meeting was held at the Hardesty Library. Randle is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and holds a doctor of laws degree from the University of Tulsa. Randle is a former mayor of Tulsa as well as a former Oklahoma State Senator and Representative. He began his career in public service with the Peace Corps in Brazil. He was twice elected president Pro Tempore of the State Senate, the Senate’s top leadership position.
