Famed architect Cesar Pelli and Tulsa officials recently unveiled the first design concepts for the new Tulsa Regional Events Center. The designs were announced at a Rotary Club of Tulsa meeting.

The arena, which is part of the Vision 2025 package approved last year by Tulsa County voters, is being designed by Cesar Pelli Associates, along with the local firm of Matrix Architects, Engineers, Planners, and Odell Associates of North Carolina.

When finished, the arena is expected to allow for an overall seating capacity up to 18,000 seats for events such as boxing or center stage concerts utilizing fixed, club, premium, retractable, demountable, and floor seating.
