Drillers Set Sod at ONEOK Field
GOING GREEN: Representatives gathered for the ceremonially laid first sod at ONEOK Field. The sod was placed early enough that it will root well before winter and be ready for spring play. Riverview Sod Ranch, an Oklahoma company that also installed the grass at the original Drillers field, raised the sod and placed the sod at ONEOK Field.
Approximately 95,000 square feet of material is used to cover the field. The installation took several days.
