Drillers Team Up for Yoga Glow-Rave
A Yoga-Glow-Rave will follow the Tulsa Drillers June 22 game at ONEOK Field.
On June 22, 2013, Productions of Tulsa, Inc. is teaming with the Tulsa Drillers and featuring the very popular yoga leader Ayngel McNall to produce a major fun event.
The purpose of the event is to capitalize on the strong yoga market that continues to trend upwardly in awareness and participation. It is open to the most serious “yogi” as well as those wishing to start or sample.
The event will have three event phases:
1. Yoga “Tailgating.” All ticket buyers for this event will be given access to the Tulsa Drillers baseball game, which begins at 7:05pm. The Drillers are setting aside the Left Field Terrace exclusively for the yoga group to gather, interact, party and browse the booths and info tables that will be in this area. An area will be set up for glow body painting also. This area is 3-tiered with umbrella tables for a great party atmosphere.
2. Yoga Session. Immediately following the game, the yoga crowd will be allowed onto the field for a one-hour session. It will be led by Ayngel and will feature many production elements including DJ music, black lights (stadium lights off – Tulsa skyline glowing prominently in background), glow hula hoop entertainer, glow bubbles and special staging.
3. Yoga Rave. Immediately at the end of the class the music will pump up and the dancing begins. A one-hour dance celebration on the outfield grass under the backdrop of Tulsa’s beautiful downtown skyscape will cap this full night of unique entertainment. Asanas will be shaken.
