Edward Jones at TU

FRIENDS OF FINANCE: Doug Hill, Managing Partner of Edward Jones, was the featured speaker during a recent Friends of Finance luncheon held at the University of Tulsa. From left at the meeting are Edward Jones representatives Trena Thomas, Andrea Duke, D. Gene Bishop, Doug Hill, TU Professor of Finance Dr. Roger Bey, Edward Jones Rep. Jerry Look, Friends of Finance member Jake Dollarhide, and Edward Jones Reps. J. Don Ross and Greg Gaither. Hill gave a very positive talk concerning the national economy. Since 1985, The University of Tulsa Friends of Finance has hosted monthly professional exchanges. More than 15,000 guests have attended presentations from more than 120 speakers on topics from corporate finance to organizational performance. Friends of Finance membership fees support TU’s Student Investment Fund, which gives students the opportunity to manage a real-dollar investment portfolio. Earnings from the fund, which currently exceeds $700,000, provide scholarships for business students.
