Energy Conference Coming to Tulsa
ENERGY AWARENESS: Mayor Dewey Bartlett, above right, speaks about a high-profile energy conference that will come to Tulsa next year. Hart Energy, a leader in energy publications and conferences, will hold its (Developing Unconventionals) conference series April 22-23 at the Renaissance Hotel and Convention Center.
Regarding why Tulsa was chosen, Rich Eichler, middle, of Hart Energy, says, “Tulsa is a great oil and gas town. It is well regarded with the oil industry; and the VisitTulsa individuals were great to work with. They are working hard for this city.” Ray Hoyt, left, senior vice president of VisitTulsa and Tulsa Sports Commission, credits open communication between energy industry leaders, VisitTulsa, the city and the chamber as a large reason for the decision.
