Extraordinary Play Highlights Jim Thorpe All-Star Game

TOUGH ALIGNMENT: The Suburban team defense, left, was too much for the Urban team, as the Suburbans won easily 42-7.
The Jim Thorpe All Star football game between the Urban and Suburban teams saw action at a very high level. The urban teams consisted of Tulsa Public and area private school players and the Suburban team consisted of players from surrounding communities.
Play was highlighted by diving catches, leaping interceptions and zero missed kicks. Overall, the passing game for both teams was impressive. Dominique Sells of completed 10 of 21 passes for the Urban squad, while Nowata’s Trenton Glasscock completed four of seven and Catoosa’s Kalen Reimer went four of five.
The Suburban team won the game 42-7.
