Family & Children’s Services Announces Contest
To Family & Children’s Services, family is everything – family offers support and strength, enhances life experiences and helps build lasting traditions. In fact, families are so important to us that we’re inviting all students K-12 to illustrate why they feel “Family Is Everything” for our 18th Annual Poster Contest.
To take part in the contest, students use their artistic talents to create a poster design in keeping with our theme, “Family Is Everything.” The artwork can illustrate family traditions, shared activities, daily routines, special memories and so much more.
Winning artists receive cash prizes up to $250 and the opportunity to be featured in the December issue of Tulsa Kids magazine. For the first time this year, teachers of winning artists will also receive cash prizes. Winning artists and teachers will be celebrated at a recognition ceremony Thursday, Nov. 9.
The deadline for poster submissions is Friday, Oct. 29, at 5 p.m. All submissions must be delivered to the F&CS Central Office, 650 S. Peoria Ave. by this time. Winners will be chosen based on their use of contest theme and artistic merit.
