Fiddler on the Roof Comes to the PAC

KEEPING TRADITIONS: Before learning to change his heart and mind, veteran actor John Preece’s character Tevye states that changing traditions is as unstable as a “Fiddler on the Roof,” which can be seen at Tulsa Performing Arts May 8-13.

It’s touted as a once in a lifetime chance to see in Tulsa Jerome Robbins’ original Broadway direction and choreography for the Tony Award winning musical Fiddler on the Roof.
“Without our traditions, our lives would be as shaky as… a Fiddler on the Roof,” announces Tevye, from the Russian village of Anatevka. And so begins a tale of love and laughter, devotion and defiance, and the changing of traditions.
Starring veteran actor John Preece as the humble milkman, Tevye, Fiddler on the Roof has been capturing hearts and winning accolades since it first opened in 1964.
Welcomed by Mrs. DeHaven’s Flower Shop, Fiddler on the Roof comes to the Tulsa Performing Arts Center for eight performances May 8-13.
