FlutterbyNight: ZooFari Gets a Butterfly Flair

This spring brings “Flutterby Night” at the Tulsa Zoo. SemGroup presents the 14th Annual ZooFari, an after-hours zoo event for the entire family on Friday, May 5, from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
ZooFari offers parents, grandparents and children the opportunity to enjoy a beautiful spring evening at the zoo. A variety of food from more than 25 of Tulsa’s finest family restaurants is sure to please everyone’s appetites. Families will also enjoy a host of activities including live music by Admiral Twin, Jupiter jumps, free train and carousel rides, Tender Loving Clowns, costume characters, animal presentations, carnival-style games, face painting, arts and crafts projects, a silent auction and a raffle. New this year, families will have the opportunity to meet some of the state’s well-known college athletes and coaches such as Sean Sutton, Scott Sutton, Corey Williams and Doug Wojcik just to name a few. It’s an event that’s sure to please the young and young at heart!
Proceeds from ZooFari benefit the zoo’s Growing Wild! capital campaign, a fundraising project dedicated to developing new exhibits for the zoo’s California Sea Lions, Amur Tigers and Snow Leopards.
Tickets are $15 for children ages 3-11 ($10 for Zoo Friends Members) and $25 for adults ($20 for Zoo Friends Members). All children ages 2 and under are free. For more information or to purchase tickets online, visit www.tulsazoo.org or call (918) 669-6608.
