RE-DISCOVERING EXPO SQUARE: Getting ready for this year’s 7th Annual Fair Kickoff Party are Honorary Chairs for this year’s event, Bob and Mary Dick, left, and the Foundation’s Board Chairman Jono Helmerich. Guests are invited to wear Fair attire and join what many call Tulsa’s best party. The theme this year is “Then & Now, Re-Discover Expo Square.”
This year’s contributions will benefit Youth Agriculture Educational Tour Programs for the “Fun on the Farm” and the Livestock Complex as well as Pavilion Box Office Signage and utility installation for the QuikTrip Center Food Court. The evening for “Fair food, fun, music and dancing” will be held Friday, Sept. 12 in the Expo Square Pavilion from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. There will be a live and silent auction, authentic fair food and dancing to the Mid-Life Crisis Band.
