The Union Schools Education Foundation () announces the return of its annual dinner and auction fundraiser. This year’s theme is “Union-A Sure Bet;” the event will offer attendees a casino night experience, to be held Nov. 1, with tickets on sale now.
All proceeds from the event will go to support (science, technology, engineering, and math) and college-and-career-ready programs at Union Public Schools. All guests will enjoy awarding-winning food by Chef Chad Horvath, a variety of casino games, various prizes, and silent and live auctions.
“This is always a great event that supports Union Public Schools, and with this year’s fundraising efforts going to and college and career readiness, we are excited to see where that can take us,” says Mark Thompson, president. “Union is the only public school in Oklahoma offering classes for students kindergarten through 12th grade, and the foundation is proud to be part of this initiative.”
The foundation is also hosting an online auction, which begins Oct. 27 at 8 a.m. and ends Nov. 5 at 8 p.m. To view the online auction, visit unionschoolsfoundation.com. The online auction features vacations, jewelry and service items.
Casino Night will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Renaissance Tulsa Hotel and Convention Center, 6808 S. 107th E. Ave. Tickets cost $60 and may be purchased online or by calling 918-357-6014. The event is open to all members of the community; however, guests must be at least 21 years or older to attend.
