Garden Club Holds Successful Show
Once again, the Tulsa Garden Club presented a standard, judged flower show interpreting themes reflecting early Oklahoma statehood.
Free and open to the public, Tulsans were invited to view the world-class designs of amateur and nationally awarded floral designers as well as premium horticulture specimens from Tulsa residential gardens.
An exciting addition to this year’s show was a book signing by Toni Garner, Tulsa Garden Club member and owner of Toni’s Flowers and Gifts. Garner and Tulsa interior designer Charles Faudree have co-authored a coffee table book titled “Country French Florals and Interiors.”
Founded in 1929, Tulsa Garden Club is a 501© (3) non-profit organization. It awards scholarships to horticulture and landscape students at TCC and OSU. The objective of Tulsa Garden Club is the advancement of gardening, developing of home grounds, and the furtherance of city beautification.
