Get Your Motor Runnin’ at AutoExpo

Tulsa area auto enthusiast will have another great opportunity to see the best collectable cars in the region on July 13-14 when Tulsa AutoExpo Car Show and Auction will open in Expo Square at the Tulsa Fairgrounds.
While car shows are not new, this show has combined numerous events to make it an event everyone can enjoy. A two-day singles and doubles pool tournament sponsored by Cupples & Johnson and hosted by Magoos will draw some of the best pool players in the city. The $1,000 add, double elimination singles tournament will be on Friday. Doubles will happen on Saturday with a $2,000 add. Players eight speed and under will compete in Nine Ball on eight pool tables. Contestants are encouraged to pre-register at Magoos in the Fontana Shopping Center at 51st Street and Memorial Drive to secure an available slot.
The Green Country Roller Girls will face off with teams from around the region as they compete for regional bragging rights. There will be pick-up games with all the fun and excitement one comes to expect from this venue of sporting event.
Music will play a big part at Tulsa AutoExpo. One of Tulsa’s favorites, The Bop Cats, will provide their classic nostalgia 1950s and 1960s music show both Friday and Saturday. Also on the venue during both days is the tribute band, Let’s Zeppelin recreating the sound of Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Paul Jones and John Bonham as Led Zeppelin.
For the auto enthusiast there will be muscle cars, hot rods, sports cars, trucks, motorcycles, classic vintage, antique and replica cars of every type. The finest after-market car part exhibitors from around the region will be present the entire show.
“We’re real excited to bring this ‘Blast from the Past’ car show and auction to Tulsa. We think there will be something for everyone to enjoy,” says Greg Cupples of Cupples & Johnson Promotions.
