Girl Scouts of Magic Empire

HELPING PEOPLE: Local Girl Scouts who served at the Oklahoma Council of the Blind Convention include Michelle White, Amy Hauger, Kaity Nagle, Kristin Swift, and Kristin Robertson.
Girl Scouts from the Magic Empire Council recently served as “Sighted Guides” for the visually impaired at the Oklahoma Council of the Blind Convention. Six local teen Girl Scouts helped guests orient themselves to the layout of the hotel’s main floor and familiarized them with key locations within the Crowne Plaza Hotel, where the two-day convention was held.
A flag ceremony was presented to all of the convention’s participants. “Sighted Guides” Michelle White, Amy Hauger, Kaity Nagle, Kristin Robertson, Alexa Grisham, and Kristin Swift participated in the ceremony and also performed a flag folding ceremony.
Girl Scouts of Magic Empire Council is proud of these Girl Scouts and is pleased to see them giving back to the community. Girl Scouts of Magic Empire Council serves nearly 11,000 girls in 14 counties across northeast Oklahoma.
