What can make your holiday time special and make you feel sexy and stylish at the same time? Holiday dressing, and not just the kind you put on your turkey!

Store away your jeans and sweatshirts and adorn yourself with a little glitter to produce a heaping helping of glamour. You might just get caught under the mistletoe a little more often this year! Whether attending a holiday party or just curling up with your loved ones around the tree or fireplace, metallics, furs, cashmeres, suedes, silks and satins are just some of the fabrics you can wrap yourself up in this season. They will not only make you feel cozy and warm, you can make someone else feel that way too. What a way to spread holiday cheer!

Combine deep navy blue in silk and silver in a matte shine like a Voom’s baby doll border print dress or a Free Peoples navy tiered number that provides both comfort and style.

Yellow, black and white make a statement with a silk kimono wrap top also by Voom or a delectable cashmere tunic by Free People, add black slacks or pencil pants and patent shoes for a more mature allure.

Velvet makes a comeback in the brightest of cobalt blues, another by FP and also a baby doll style dress accessorized with gold, silver or black. Last but not least and expressly for the fireplace curl up is a bracelet and hot pant sweater set complete with fur balls and a red and white winter snow print, which is sure to put the hot in hot pant. In fact, you might even have to lower those flames a little.

Don’t forget to top yourself off with a little tinsel…gold and silver accessories, of course! Try a matte shine this year with bangles, clutches, headband and belts to give you the holiday shine. Save face, and bring in the heavy metal with metallic eye shadow or molten it up wet for an attention-grabbing liner. Add Rudolph red on the lips, a little gloss and you’ve got movie star glamour sure to spice it up just in time to bring in the New Year!
