Golden Eagles Women’s Golf 23rd at NCAA West Regional

STANFORD, Calif.-Oral Roberts women’s golf team is 23rd after one round of play at the NCAA West Regional, Thursday at Stanford Golf Course.

Making their 10th consecutive regional appearance, the Golden Eagles opened with a 319. No. 13 Virginia holds the team lead at seven-over par 291.

Summit League Championship MVP Amber Hensley (Jenks, Okla.) is off to a solid start for ORU and is tied for 47th after opening with a 76. Senior Megan O’Connell (Odessa, Texas) is tied for 62nd after carding a 77.

Crystal Reeves (Broken Arrow, Okla.) shot an 82 while Kylie Bollenbach (Edmond, Okla.) and Eve Santillan (Aguascaliente, Mexico) shot 84 and 85, respectively.

San Jose State’s Madeline Ziegert shot 67 and owns the individual overall lead.

Second-round action for ORU begins Friday at 10:55 a.m. CDT.
