GTR Cup Roundup
The Cup was held Dec. 28-29 at the Center before Tulsa Oilers games.
Austin Tyler scored three goals and dished two assists, powering the Junior Oilers Gold Team to a 7-5 victory over the Junior Oilers Green in the Mite Division championship game of the Cup.
Alex Bateman’s third-period shot from the slot popped up and over goalie Drew Reeves into the net, igniting the Junior Oilers Gold Team to a 4-3 victory over the Junior Oilers Blues in the Squirts Division title game of the Cup.
Zach Nelson and Chaz Castillo-Wilson each scored two goals with one assist, leading the Junior Oilers Red Team to a 6-2 victory over the Junior Oilers Gold in the finals of the bantam/pee wee division of the Cup at the Center.
