GTR Student Athlete of the Month

The recipient of the first Newspapers Student Athlete of the Month award is Miranda Kiser.

Kiser has a 3.3 and is a four-year starter for Union’s fast pitch softball team. She can play anywhere on the field and has played second base, shortstop and in the outfield. Kiser also mentors young elementary softball players.

“Miranda is the type of player that makes everything look easy. She has a great work ethic and a super attitude. She has been a joy to coach,” says head coach Jerry Pease.
