Hall Estill Ranked as Best
Tulsa based Hall, Estill, Hardwick, Gable, Golden & Nelson, P.C. maintained its status as the city’s number one ranked law firm in the 2010 issue of Best Lawyers in America guide.
Hall Estill’s Tulsa office ranked number one for the total number of lawyers listed and for the number of practice areas. The guide is the oldest and most respected not-for-fee, peer review source of information used by corporations and law firms to assist in selecting the legal services of attorneys and law firms. It includes 39,766 attorneys in 80 specialties, covering all 50 states and the District of Columbia. This makes the third year the Tulsa office of Hall Estill has earned this distinction with 24 attorneys achieving Best Lawyers in America rankings in 21 practice areas.
In addition, four attorneys from the Oklahoma City office were ranked Best Lawyers bringing the statewide total for Hall Estill to 28 attorneys in this year’s guide, an increase of two over the statewide total for last year. The new attorneys ranked this year are Bonnie N. Hackler as a Best Lawyer in Bankruptcy and Creditor-Debtor Rights Law along with Stephen W. Ray who is ranked for the first time in two practice areas, Corporate Governance and Compliance Law, and Corporate Law. Michael T. Keester has added Construction Law to his Best Lawyer ranking for Commercial Litigation.
The guide designates the firm number one in Oklahoma in four practice categories: Bankruptcy and Creditor-Debtor Rights Law, Communications Law, Corporate Governance and Compliance Law and Technology Law. The firm is ranked first in Oklahoma City in First Amendment Law and first in Tulsa in 13 practice categories.
All of last year’s Hall Estill Best Lawyers remain on this year’s list. Graydon Dean Luthey, Jr. again achieved Best Lawyer status in five practice categories and J. Patrick Cremin and James C. T. Hardwick are again designated in three practice categories each.
