Harwelden to Host Annual Murder Mystery
The Arts and Hmanities Council of Tulsa invites the community to the 2012 Harwelden Murder Mystery “The Kiss-Kiss, Bang-Bang Theory!” Reservations are being taken for this popular annual event which takes place Aug. 2-4 and 9-11 at Harwelden Mansion. Tickets are $45 per guest and include dinner, wine, beer and a mystery to solve! This year, guests will find themselves immersed in a mystery inspired by campy sci-fi series of yesteryear.
Few people remember the TV series “Galaxy of Doom.” It lasted only three episodes. But when rumor gets out that a trailer for a film adaptation will be shown at sci-fi convention Harwel-Def-Con XV, it attracts an unusual group of fanatics, determined to do something about “Galaxy of Doom” — even if that “something” includes murder. Guests are invited to come to the Harwelden Murder Mystery and see if they can discover the evidence to prove “The Kiss-Kiss, Bang-Bang Theory.”
The best detectives in the crowd will win prizes, and proceeds benefit the programs of the Arts and Humanities Council of Tulsa. Guests are encouraged to wear costumes inspired by their favorite sci-fi characters!
