Heller Theatre Announces Auditions for Other Desert Cities
Heller Theatre announces auditions for Other Desert Cities by Jon Robin Baitz. Auditions are set for Saturday, January 25, 3 p.m. at the Henthorne Performing Arts Center, 4825 S. Quaker.
Baitz’s play is an emotionally charged story about a family coming to terms with long held secrets. A once promising novelist returns home to Palm Springs to visit her parents. Conflict arises when she announces the imminent publication of her memoir, which revisits a family scandal never fully resolved.
Auditions will consist of cold readings. Needed are: 3 women, aged 30’s-60’s
