Helping Female Soldiers

SENDING SUPPORT: Members of the Wealaka Chapter of (Daughters of the American Revolution) package items to send to female soldiers currently serving in Kuwait.
Members are, from left, Leslie Hickman, Jo Lynn Crabbe, Elaine Tittle, Nancy Robinson, Marilyn Means, Nakita Moffitt (state chairman of Project Patriot committee), Carolyn Thornton, Jane Gibson and Susan Spies. The items included health and hygiene products, paperback books, snacks, and hand-written notes of encouragement. The group filled seven boxes, which were shipped to an officer in Kuwait who will distribute the items to the 30 women soldiers in her command.
