The mission statement reads, “The Hispanic culture is the oldest non-indigenous influence in the Western Hemisphere, dating back over 500 years. It is currently reflected throughout contemporary life in our language, foods, architecture, music and art. In an effort to recognize and celebrate this heritage as it exists within the Tulsa community, the Hispanic American foundation, a non profit organization operating under Rule 501 © 3 was founded in October 1990. The Foundation is dedicated to the preservation, appreciation and promotion of Hispanic culture through scholarships, grants and the presentation of cultural programs.
