Holiday Home Tour Brightens the Season

FOLLOWING THEIR DREAMS: Jenks High School vocal students are excited to help host the holiday home tour Sunday, Dec. 6 from 1 to 5 p.m.

Follow Your Dreams is the theme of the 17th Annual Jenks Vocal Music Department’s Holiday Home Tour to be held Sunday, Dec. 6 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. All transportation is by bus from the Jenks 7th and 8th Grade Center at 101st Street and Delaware Avenue. Join teachers and students as they celebrate the season by opening up four fabulous homes decorated to perfection for the holidays.

The exquisite homes in this year’s tour are all located in the elegant Belmont neighborhood. Belmont is the perfect location for the gorgeous home of Bud and Stacey Biram. With its European design and contemporary decor, guests will delight in all the wonderful details of each room. With the intricate wood moldings and stone, brick inlay and wood floorings, every room is a delight for all to see. With the help of Interior Decorator Julia Kirkendall, the love of Christmas is reflected through out the home. From the whimsical collection of Mark Robert fairies to the Red Corvette loaded with gifts in the family’s driveway, this home is ready for a flurry of holiday activities.

Grand double doors open to welcome guests into the luxurious home of Bob and Marjo Burk. Interior Decorator Jeanette Schwartz helped create the ambience of luxury and imagination in this magnificent European “old-world” styled home. Many wonderfully decorated Christmas trees will put guests in the spirit of the season as will all the festive fun and fantasy tucked into every corner. Don’t forget to visit the two outdoor living areas, both wonderfully decorated merry and bright!

Capture the Christmas Spirit as Ralph and Melony Hill welcome guests into their fabulous Southwestern themed home. From the wrought iron candelabras and the cow-hide lounger to the impressive array of “Pop Art” water colors, acrylic and oil paintings, guests will delight in all the wonderful details that make this home so unique. With the help of Interior Decorator Talmadge Powell, beautiful additions of Christmas decorations, vintage Santa’s and seasonal greenery enchants the eye.

With its beautiful French Country appeal, the charming home of Brian and Libby Worley makes spirits bright all year through. Beautiful antiques and family heirlooms are evident as guests enter their cheerful home. Interior Decorator Michelle Dillingham has uniquely choreographed the Worley’s love of colorful modern art and array of old and new pottery collections to seamlessly flow throughout the home. With a wonderful collection of Santa’s and a life size reindeer in the dining room, no time is more special than Christmas in this warm, inviting home!
