The Holmes Organisation (), an independent Tulsa-based provider of workplace, property and casualty insurance and risk management programs, has been recognized as a Platinum-Level Fit-Friendly Company by the American Heart Association’s Fit-Friendly Companies initiative for helping employees eat better and move more. is one of five Tulsa companies to be recognized at the 2011 Platinum Level.

A companywide walking challenge requires employees to walk 100 miles per month and provides a shoe stipend for those who participate. also encourages walk breaks instead of smoke breaks as well as group walks to healthy lunch spots and community events near the office. Employees track their steps using company-provided pedometers. In addition, onsite fitness classes are offered before and after work, and employees are given the schedule and dress code flexibility to participate in their own exercise and training programs.
