TULSA, Okla., Jan. 19, 2010 – Hotel Ambassador is accepting toiletry donations for Haiti
earthquake victims as part of its agreement with Clean the World Foundation, Inc., an Orlando-
based charitable organization committed to the prevention of illness and death caused by
diarrheal diseases in countries across the globe.
The following unused, unopened products are needed:
Shampoo
Lotion
Hand sanitizer
Toothpaste
Toothbrushes
Q-tips
Bath gel
Donations are being accepted seven days a week from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the north
entrance to Hotel Ambassador located at 1324 South Main Street in Tulsa.
“We are proud to be a part of the Clean the World program and are honored to work with them in
support of the Haitian earthquake victims,” said Michael Frimel, general manager of Hotel
Ambassador.
In December 2009, Hotel Ambassador and Clean the World entered into an agreement whereby
the hotel provides gently used soaps, shampoos and lotions to Clean the World for sanitization
and redistribution.
Clean the World Foundation collects discarded soap and shampoo from hotels to be recycled and
distributed these soap products along with appropriate educational materials to domestic
homeless shelters and impoverished countries worldwide. With the donations of these discarded
soap and shampoo products, Clean the World Foundation is a step closer to reaching their goal of
preventing the millions of lives lost each year.
