Ihloff ‘Getting Down for Trees’
Ihloff Salon and Day Spa is bringing the green back to Tulsa this April with an Earth Month event benefiting Up With Trees. The Tulsa community suffered the loss of thousands of trees during the December 2007 ice storm, which damaged the beautiful landscape of the city.
On Thursday, April 3, Ihloff Salon will host “ReFresh Tulsa 2008: Get Down For The Trees” at Jewel, 3340 S. Peoria, from 6-10 p.m. to benefit Up With Trees. Up With Trees is working to bring the city’s urban forest back to life. The evening will include a fashion show, silent auction, raffle giveaways and the opportunity to learn about other green-friendly organizations in the Tulsa area. Refresh Tulsa will raise funds to help Up With Trees reach the City of Tulsa’s goal of replanting 20,000 trees by 2010.
“At Ihloff, we are passionate about the environment and our commitment is a part of the very essence of our company,” says Ihloff Spa Director Sara Cruncleton. “Up With Trees was an obvious choice seeing the aftermath of what the ice storm did to our city and landscape.”
Celebrating 27 years of bringing balance and beauty to life, Ihloff is nationally renowned for its commitment to the environment, the Tulsa community and their clients’ well being. Recognized for four years by Salon Today as one of the 200 fastest growing salons in the nation, Ihloff is a designated Aveda Lifestyle Salon and Spa, devoted to bringing clients back to balance with products and services based on Aveda’s pure flower and plant essences.
