Ihloff Salon & Day Spa has been named one of the top 200 fastest-growing salons in North America by Salon Today Magazine. The business, founded by Marilyn Ihloff in 1980, employs 106 people and has locations in Utica Square and the Renaissance Center.
The magazine, a top business publication for the industry, honors top-producing salons in four revenue categories. Growth-oriented salons with minimum annual gross revenues of $100,000 are eligible. Those selected are divided into four revenue categories.
This is the fifth year Ihloff has been named to the Salon 200. The Tulsa company is one of only 31 in the $2 million-plus category. Ihloff credits internet marketing for a significant portion of sales increases during the past year.
“Making spa gift certificates available online has contributed substantially to our sales growth. We also send out three emails a week with special spa service offers. People forward the emails to friends, allowing us to consistently reach new potential clients,” says Ihloff Spa Director Sara Cruncleton.
