Indian Springs Country Club Victorious at Pro-Lady Tourney
INDIAN SPRINGS WINNERS: An Indian Springs Country Club team won in Austin at the ClubCorp Pro-Lady. The two teams representing the club were Teresa Delarzelere, Laurie Campbell, Marcia Thurtchley and Dana Cryer playing with Head Golf Professional Michael Boyd (above), and Janice Wyatt, Coleen Hazelwood, Becky Duvall and Renee Mills playing with Assistant Golf Professional Leisl Hasbrouck.
The team of Teresa, Laurie, Marcia, Dana and Michael shot rounds of 62-56 (26 under par) to win the competition by one stroke over Shady Valley of Houston. The tournament was played on Flint Rock Falls and The Hills Course in Lakeway just west of Austin. The 56 on the Hills Course included a run of 8 birdies, an eagle, and 2 more birdies to play the last 11 holes in 12 under par. This marks the third consecutive year Indian Springs has won the ClubCorp Pro-Lady.
