Ingrid Calderon, Ryan Hofmann are Seniors of the Month

Union High School, 6636 S. Mingo Road, has named Ingrid Calderon and Ryan Hofmann as Seniors of the Month for February. She is the daughter of Joseph and Lourdes Wilcoxson and he is the son of Todd and Laura Hofmann.
Calderon is active in UHype Crew as president, Student Council, nutrition events sponsored by the marketing class and in basketball and football games. She is also district reporter for SkillsUSA Oklahoma northeast. She is a member of the Top 10 Royalty for Mr. and Miss Union. Honors include being named to National Technical Honor Society, second place winner in nationals for SkillsUSA digital cinema and 1st place in regionals for “job skills demo 0 SkillsUSA.” She hopes to attend college and study marketing and eventually open her makeup and photography/film studio.
Hofmann is active in TeePee Crew as co-czar, Union Jazz Choir, Guystepppers, Fields of Faith, Student Council and MESH, as well as a small group leader, vacation bible school coordinator and mission trip volunteer for Asbury United Methodist Church. Honors include being named Student Council Representative of the Year, Mr. Highstepper 2018, Junior and Senior Mr. Union Top 10, Fields of Faith emcee and National Honor Society member for 8-12th grades. He also received an Oklahoma State University Academic Excellence Award Scholarship, and he was named to Oklahoma State Honors College. He hopes to attend OSU and major in accounting.
