Jenks Chamber Seeks Artists for Art on Main Event
JENKS, Okla. – The Jenks Chamber of Commerce is calling all Oklahoma artists from the panhandle to Grand Lake to Ponca City to Ardmore for the 7thAnnual Art on Main.
Sprawling across historic downtown Jenks, Art on Main will take place on Saturday, Oct. 9 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Thousands of art enthusiasts from across the state and region converge on Jenks annually for this one-of-a-kind event.
Artist applications will be available for a variety of mediums, including: drawings, glass, jewelry, metal, mixed media, painting, photography, sculpture, wood carvings, and others. Artists may show and sell their works.
In the past, this event has been awarded the Oklahoma Community Institute’s “Outstanding Community Improvement Initiative” award.
Entertainment this year will be Oklahoma musician Mary Cogan.
Art on Main is sponsored by the Jenks Chamber of Commerce Community Foundation.
