Jenks Graduate Honored
Jenks High School English teacher Joy Edwards (right) and parents Chitra and Vijay Musuvathy (left) congratulate Tulsa Academic All-Stater Sanjeev Musuvathy during the Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence Academic Awards Banquet, held recently in Tulsa. Musuvathy, a 2019 graduate of Jenks High School, was among 100 outstanding seniors from Oklahoma public schools who were honored by the foundation as Academic All-Staters. He received an Academic All-State Scholarship sponsored by Mr. and Mrs. James M. Sturdivant. The Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence is a statewide nonprofit organization that recognizes and encourages academic excellence in Oklahoma’s public schools. Musuvathy selected Edwards as his honored teacher guest for the banquet.
