Jenks Graduate is Incoming Girl Scout CEO

The Board of Directors for Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma has named Roberta Preston as their new Chief Executive Officer effective Dec. 1, 2010.
Preston, previously a service delivery executive for Corporation, is an accomplished executive with over 25 years experience in shared service, finance, accounting and human capital development.
The Tulsa resident has a record of success when facing client, organizational and delivery challenges, making Preston a proven leader with ability to perform in rapidly changing and dynamic environments.
Her passion for organizational efficiency and effectiveness has long been matched by an active dedication to mentoring youth. Preston shares, “This opportunity is a great marriage of my corporate skills and my desire to make a difference. I look forward to taking the next step in developing Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma as the premiere Council in the nation.”
Preston received both her Masters of business administration and Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of Tulsa after graduating from Jenks High School.
She also serves on the executive advisory board for Collins College of Business, University of Tulsa. Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma is looking forward to a continuing bright future serving approximately 12,000 girls and volunteers in 30 eastern Oklahoma counties with Preston at the helm.
