Jenks Music Dept. Performs ‘The Messiah’
The music departments of Jenks High School will offer two concert opportunities for
“The Messiah” by composer George Frideric Handel on Monday, Dec. 16, 2013. The performances will be held in the Jenks Performing Arts Center. Two performances are scheduled for 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Both shows will include the 240 voices of Jenks Vocal Music students as well as returning alumni as featured soloists. The soloists include a Broadway star, an International Opera Singer, a university voice professor, a performing arts facility director and many more Jenks High School alumni who have made music their lifetime profession.
In between performances, gift baskets in a wide variety of themes and prices will be available for purchase as a fundraiser for Jenks Vocal Music.
Tickets are available for $5 and $10 through the Ticket Office, 918-299-4415 ext. 2371 or by emailing Brandon.Roye@jenksps.org with your preferred show time and number of reservations. Group tickets are available through Jade Graham, cjadegraham@gmail.com now through December 12.
Beginning December 2, you may stop by the Ticket Office to pay for and pick up your tickets. Apologies, “will call” for payment and pick up the night of performance is unavailable.
