Jordan Clarkson Selected to NABC First Team

The 2012 National Association of Basketball Coaches recently named Tulsa sophomore Jordan Clarkson to the All-District 11 First Team.
Clarkson, a 6’4” guard from San Antonio, Texas, averaged 16.5 points per game and led the Golden Hurricane to a third-place finish in Conference . He scored in double figures in each of his last 28 games and scored 20 or more points eight times. He ranked second in C- in scoring and had a .784 free throw percentage and a .435 field goal percentage. Clarkson also dished out 2.5 assists per game.
Clarkson was also selected to the All-Conference First-Team and became Tulsa’s youngest first-team all-conference selection since Shea Seals in 1994-95.
This is the fourth straight year TU had placed players on the All-District Teams. Justin Hurtt was selected in 2011, and Ben Uzoh and Jerome Jordan were each selected in 2009 and 2010.
