Jerome Jordan recently announced he will forgo the NBA draft to finish college at the University of Tulsa.

Jordan averaged 13.8 points, 8.6 rebounds and 2.6 blocked shots as a junior. He also shot 58-percent from the field and 74-percent from the free throw line in 36 games this past season.

Jordan has 251 career blocked shots and will enter the 2009-2010 season needing 15 blocks to become the school’s all-time leader and 63 more blocks to move into first-pace on the C-USA chart.

With TU’s experience and touted recruiting class, next season has real promise.
