Josh Blankenship Making News in Greater Tulsa Sports

JOSH BLANKENSHIP: The Tulsa Talons and former Union High School, TU and Eastern Washington quarterback was a good sport on Valentine’s Day when he was auctioned off in a fund-raiser for the “Cancer Sucks??? charity at the Fox and Hound English Pub and Grille. Talons wide receiver Zac Jones was also auctioned off. The winners joined their Talons football players for a dinner for two at the Fox and Hound.The Talons kick-off their 2005 season on April 1 at the Amarillo Civic Center versus af2’s new arrival, the Amarillo Dusters. Blankenship will compete with former Jenks and OSU player Ben Bowling for the quarterback starting position. Before joining the Talons, Blankenship was a free agent for the Miami Dolphins. He holds ten school records at EWU.
