Junior Achievement Hosts Golf

Cox Business presents the Ninth Annual Junior Achievement Classic on Monday, Sept. 13 at Cedar Ridge Country Club. Rain date is Nov. 8. The event is a dual flight four-person scramble.
Corporate Sponsors include Flintco, Community Care College, Lafarge, Williams, United States Beef Corp (Arby’s), Atlas Pipeline, Matrix Service Company and Hall Estill.
Tournament sponsorships are still available at many levels. Breakfast will be served and the range will open at 7 a.m. with a shotgun tee time of 8:30 a.m. for the morning flight and lunch will be served and the range will open at 11:30 a.m. for the afternoon flight with a shotgun start of 1 p.m.
In conjunction with the tournament, a silent auction will be held. Committee chair is Chris Cardoni, F&M Bank. JA introduces the business world into the classroom and empowers students through exciting hands-on learning experiences. During the 2010-2011 school year, it will reach over 47,000 students.
