Perry Joe Booth and Peggy J. Booth (both “PJ’s”) have opened PJ’s Just a Buck, Tulsa’s newest quality dollar store. The grand opening and ribbon cutting celebration was held October 30 and 31. The store is located in Manchester Square at 8228 E. 61st St. just east of Beijing Gourmet. “Nothing costs more than a ‘Buck,’” says Perry Booth.
“It is our goal to be the nicest dollar store in Tulsa,” he adds. Because Just a Buck is a family owned business and not a huge corporate conglomerate, Booth frequently is able to find special quality items not always available under other corporate arrangements. There are no corporate layers of regulations and bureaucracy for approval.
Booth has been in the buying industry for years working for other organizations. Therefore, he has crossed the country many times and knows where to shop for his customers.
PJ’s Just a Buck is a great place for purchasing Christmas wraps, décor, greeting cards, stationary, balloons, bows, gag gifts, party goods, candy, toys, pet supplies, hardware, jewelry, health and beauty supplies, kitchenware, incenses and oils, and so much more.
The couple explains that their family lives in the area, and living close by will give them the opportunity to see their children and grandchildren grow up.
