Kansas Signs 27 For 2011 Football Season

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas Head Football Coach Turner Gill and his staff hit the states of Texas and Kansas hard, but also added student-athletes from a total of 11 different states in signing its 2011 football class released Wednesday.

In all, KU signed 27 players on Wednesday, including four freshmen who are already on campus and one junior college transfer.  The Jayhawks inked 13 offensive players, 13 defensive players and one specialist.
