Kline Tools Opens Odessa Location

Tulsa-based Kline Tools, a leading manufacturer of downhole tools for the oilfield industry, opened a second location in Odessa, Texas.

In 1978, Kline Tools began manufacturing a variety of specialized oilfield equipment, including packers, tubing anchors, bridge plugs, tubing swivels, retrieving tools, scab liner assemblies, unloading valves and collar locators. The Tulsa facility employs 30 and will continue to manufacture Kline products, while the new location will warehouse and distribute products for customers in the Permian Basin of west Texas, a large oil- and natural gas-producing area.

The new location offers 4,400 square feet of space that will better allow Kline Tools to keep customers well-stocked with downhole tools. In addition to maintaining a large stock of Kline products, the Odessa shop will do assembly, modification work and light repairs.

“We have been manufacturing downhole tools for more than 30 years,” says Curtis Kline, vice president of Kline Tools. “Customer service is our primary goal, and with so many of our valued customers in the Permian Basin, it made perfect sense to open a warehouse in Odessa to serve them better.”

The new location currently has four employees.
