Tulsa’s chapter of the American Cancer Society serves cancer patients in the area by providing valuable transportation services to those who need a ride getting to and from their many doctor and treatment appointments.
This “Road to Recovery” program is just one of the many ways outside of cancer research that American Cancer Society supports local cancer patients.
The organization’s annual Cattle Baron’s Ball, to be held on Aug. 24, has a special focus this year on securing new cars for the program through financial and vehicle donations.
The event will feature a live concert by The Lost Trailers and local country music favorite, Red Dirt Rangers. It is open to the public and tickets are available online. Learn more about the event at www.tulsacattlebaronsball.org.
