The 14th Annual Global Vision Awards, held in May at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Tulsa, honors Mollie Williford and the The Anne and Henry Zarrow Foundation.
The Global Vision Award is presented annually by Tulsa Global Alliance. Each award honors individuals and institutions that have made a contribution to citizen diplomacy, global understanding, world political stability or cooperative efforts to address international health, economic, social or environmental challenges. Tulsa Global Alliance connects cultures through awareness, education and opportunities.
Mollie Williford is a Tulsa philanthropist and businesswoman. She has increased the quality of life in Oklahoma by supporting various culture, wildlife, health, academic, civic and service causes. She was a board member of the International Council of Tulsa and Sister Cities International of Tulsa. She is currently chairman of the board of The Williford Companies.
Also honored, The Anne and Henry Zarrow Foundation has a strong reputation for generosity. The Foundation has provided sponsorships for Tulsa students to participate in School Year Abroad and has been a supporter of the Kids’ World International Festival. Henry Zarrow is a trustee and founder of The Anne and Henry Zarrow Foundation, which has given millions of dollars over the years to Tulsa-area needs, Jewish causes, the indigent, the disenfranchised and the homeless, as well as college scholarships to Oklahoma students.
