As an active community partner, the $195 million River Spirit Casino at 81st Street and Riverside Drive, which opened March 31, provides a positive economic impact for Tulsa and surrounding towns, adding 650 new jobs to the city for a total of 1,300 employees. Proceeds for gaming operations help to fund a variety of Muscogee (Creek) Nation service programs such as housing, education, elderly assistance and healthcare. The River Spirit Casino also helps to position greater Tulsa as an inviting tourist area, and the facility is an important factor in the continuing development of the Arkansas River.
The Casino showcases 300,000 square feet of gaming space and is one of the largest gaming floors in Oklahoma. With 2,745 high-tech electronic machines, 24 table games and 15 poker tables, River Spirit Casino offers the most current technology and latest games available. The facility features four world-class food and beverage venues including the largest casino buffet in Oklahoma, a fine dining establishment, a 24-hour caf? and state-of-the-art sports bar.
