TPi Billing Solutions toasted 40 years of success in the billing industry with a black tie event in March. Many of its closest clients, employees and friends spent the evening at the historic Mayo Hotel with the music of Tulsan Grady Nichols.
TPi was established in 1966 by Roy E. and Don Thomas with a focus on billing services for rural telephone companies in Oklahoma and Arkansas. Today, the company’s billing reaches 44 states and continues to be family owned and operated.
Ray Thomas, president and chief executive officer, works with daughter Tracy Thomas-Bolding, chief financial officer, and son Rik Thomas, print production manager.
In 2005, Ray Thomas was named Small Business Person of the Year by the Tulsa Metro Chamber. He is also on the board of directors of the Chamber and serves on the Small Business Council and the Healthcare Taskforce. TPi’s success has earned national recognition as well, including two appearances on the Inc. 500 list of the country’s fastest growing companies in 2003 and 2004.
Throughout the company’s accelerated growth, TPi has maintained a commitment to giving back to Tulsa through its involvement with Big Brothers & Sisters of Green Country, American Cancer Society Relay For Life, Susan B. Komen Race for the Cure and Community Health Connection, among many others.
Congratulations to TPi Billing Solutions for celebrating 40 years!
