Leadership Broken Arrow Accepting Applications
Leadership Broken Arrow () is accepting applications for the 2011-2012 class, which starts in September. The program affords participants a unique awareness of Broken Arrow – past, present and future – and an appreciation for how their own unique leadership skills and talents might satisfy the demands of this growing community. Graduates of the program are in a position to influence the future of Broken Arrow through their community involvement.
The program consists of nine full-day sessions, one per month, September through May. Classes are typically conducted from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm on the first or second Thursday of each month. Sessions feature guest lectures, experts in their respective fields, local-area tours, visits to places with important community missions, leadership training, classroom participation and an opportunity to network with other civic-minded individuals.
Applications will be accepted through Aug. 25 and are available at the BA Chamber of Commerce or on the website: www.leadershipbrokenarrow.com. All individuals with an interest in the Broken Arrow community are welcomed to apply. Class size is limited. Tuition for the 2011-2012 program is $500.00. Individuals or businesses will be billed at time of acceptance.
