League of Women Voters of Metropolitan Tulsa Providing a Voters’ Guide for June 28 Election

The League of Women Voters of Metropolitan Tulsa has worked tirelessly to put together a Voters’ Guide for the June 28th primary elections. The League’s mission is to encourage informed and active participation in government works, to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influence public policy through education and advocacy. The Voters’ Guide is just one way the League recognizes this mission.

“The League works so hard to be able to put these Voter Guides together and we are so proud of the technology that we have to make the Voters’ Guides possible. It is so important for voters to be informed before going to the polls and the Voter’s Guides are a great resource for that purpose alone.” said Elizabeth Harris, LWVMT President
The current Voters’ Guide allows voters to compare and contrast between the various candidates running for a particular office. The League has reached out to all candidates inviting them to participate but the Voters’ Guide is a voluntary; candidates are able to choose whether or not they wish to participate.

An online version of the Voters’ Guide is available via the League’s webpage (lwvtulsa.org) and at vote411.org.

The League of Women Voters of Metropolitan Tulsa office is open Monday-Friday from 10am-2pm and may be reached via phone at 918-747-7933 for any questions.
